If not possible, then please consider this a feature request. So I'd like to disable "drag continues at touchpad edge" and enable "require additional tap to stop dragging". Or just anything that requires precision. This mechanism is stupendously irritating when trying to pixel-precise drag a trackbar, or when doing some I know dragging continues when your finger reaches the touchpad edges, but that I find greatly irritating because it looses all sense of precision. Some people found it annoying and disabled it, but I welcomed it.
IS MULTISWIPE GOOD WINDOWS 7
That's what it used to be like in the Windows 7 era with most touchpads. Release finger and perform one addditional tap to stop dragging.(repeat steps 4 & 5 as many times as desired).Reposition finger and continue dragging by flicking the touchpad some more. It's just a bit messy.ĭoes anybody have any experience using this app? The closest macro I can find is to use 3 finger drag to Move Active Window, but I want to use this to be able to drag & drop, hightlight files/text etcetera, which just moving active window doesn't seem capable of doing, and on top of that it's just a bit messy since it seems to just be doing an alt+space and then moving wherever the mouse moves, without actually moving the cursor.
IS MULTISWIPE GOOD HOW TO
I've read in a few places that this program can do just that, but I'm not sure how to configure it. So I've just straight up disabled that feature, but I want to try and get something akin to MacOS' 3 finger drag because it's amazingly intuitive for how I use my trackpad. Using Windows' tap to click is a nightmare with the delay on double click drag being so short, I end up tapping to close a tab, then moving the track pad and all of a sudden I'm ripping open github in a new window or something. Hey, so I'm using MultiSwipe which seems like a really powerful program, but I can't figure out how to enable any options similar to Mac with the 3 finger drag.
